You Raise Me Up!

This song is very beautiful, and I think it can be called a Christian song. This is a performance by David Döring, a pan flutist from Kazakhstan.

“Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.”

“But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.”

 – Psalm 41: 9 – 10

Lyrics: (from Sifa Lyrics)

When I am down and, oh, my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up to more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up to more than I can be.

There is no life – no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up to more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up to more than I can be.

You raise me up to more than I can be.

I Uploaded the Translating System… But…

I think you may have noticed that there is a ‘Translate’ button at the bottom of the ‘Follow’ button at the bottom of the Widgets.

Well, I pushed the ‘Translate’ button on some of my posts and it automatically translated them into Japanese… but!

When I read the Japanese version of my posts, for example The Chronicles of Numbskull, I couldn’t help but laugh!

It was all messed up and everything was absolute nonsense, as if… as if an Unidentified Fanatic Oaf from outer space wrote it!

So, yeah, the ‘Translation’ system doesn’t really work…

(A little note: I believeth not in aliens)
