Happy Pocky Day!

HAPPY POCKY DAY EVERYBODY!!!

Today in Japan it’s “Pocky Day”, November 11th (11-11)!

It’s called that because the four 1’s lined up together look like Pocky sticks, which are famous Japanese chocolate coated biscuit sticks!

And right now, 11:50 PM, I’m wearing a”Happy Pocky Day!!” T-shirt and eating five boxes of strawberry chocolate-coated Pocky sticks for an evening snack! … Just kidding. 🙂

Amazing Grace

I posted this hymn a few days ago, but I want to post it again! Why not?

Amazing Grace“, sung by American country singer Alan Jackson.

Alan Jackson – Amazing Grace

Lyrics:              (from YouTube)

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
was blind, but now I see.

‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
and grace my fears relieved;
how precious did that grace appear
the hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils, and snares,
I have already come;
’tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
and grace will lead me home.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
bright shining as the sun,
we’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
than when we first begun.

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
was blind, but now I see.
