Jeremy took the pictures and I typed the words, although I don’t know why he had to use disgusting Lego bricks, like that door… EW!!! 🙂

‘I Know That My Redeemer Lives’

“Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved!” – Acts 16:31

Lee Duigon

We are all sinners and we all need redemption. God knows this, and has provided it–in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Sung by Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band, written by Charles Wesley–I Know That My Redeemer Lives.

🐻Animal Award😺

I was nominated on May 23rd, 2019. That makes 3 awards in one week!

I was nominated the Animal Award by Newblogger20!!! Thank you so much, Newblogger20! Please follow her blog: newblogger20.com!!!

  1. Thank the blogger who nominated you.
  2. Answer the questions given.
  3. Nominate 3 or more bloggers.
  4. Tell your nominees the good news.
  5. Make up some of your own questions about animals.
  6. Pet your animal. (I don’t have a pet, so I petted my brother. 🙂 )

1.What animal are you scared of?

I am not ashamed to say that I am dreadfully afraid of the centipede. One of the reasons why I don’t like summer, is the invasion of centipedes in the house, and of course the heat. First of all their appearance is very frightening, and they sting (I’ve never been stung by one of those… not yet anyway… 😨).

2.What’s an animal you love?

CENTIPEDES!!… No, what am I saying?? I really love the cat, especially kittens. I also love bears. Why? Well, I think they are kind of cute. I like the picture above, do you?

3.What’s an animal you would like to see in real life?

Ah, yes, the brachiosaurus. I would like to see the brachiosaurus (or any other dinosaur, excluding the spinosaurus, T-Rex, “Indominus Rex,” and “Indoraptor”…) with my own eyes. Also, seeing a mosasaur or a megalodon in the sea would be awesome, as long as I’m not in the sea…

4.What’s an animal you would NOT like to see in real life?

As I mentioned before, I would NOT like to see a spinosaurus, a T-Rex, an “I-Rex,” or an “Indoraptor” (The dinosaurs in quotation marks are fictional, they will never be seen alive by any human eyes… boy, what a relief.) But what am I doing talking about extinct (well, most likely extinct, but I’m not sure about that…) animals? To be more realistic, I DON’T WANT to see a 20-foot long centipede, I can tell you that!!!

  1. Let’s say that you are suddenly face to face with a wild lion. What’s the best thing you can do in that situation?🦁
  2. I must say that this is a little gruesome, but what’s your favorite animal TO EAT?🐷
  3. If you could be an animal in a world of anthropomorphic animals, what animal would you like to be?🐻
  4. Would you exchange your 2018 diary for 5,000 chickens?🐓

That’s all for now, folks! I would like to say another “Thank you!” to Newblogger20 for nominating me for this fun Animal Award!

Have fun, my dear nominees!

Mataneh (See you again), everybody!

Liebster Award #2

WOW! Two Liebster Awards in one week! Isn’t that something? ( I was nominated this award on May 22nd, 2019.)

Thank you so much, Newblogger20, for nominating me for the Liebster Award!!! This is my third award. Please visit her blog: newblogger20.com!!

These are the rules:

  1. Show your gratitude to the blogger who nominated you.
  2. Post the award on your blog post.
  3. Answer the questions given to you by your nominator.
  4. Nominate 5 other bloggers.
  5. Ask 6 new questions to your nominees.
  6. Notify your nominees, giving them a link to your blog post in the comments.

Here are the questions from Newblogger20…

1. Why did you start blogging?

The reason why I started blogging is that so I can post some stories. I did that only at the beginning of my blog. The stories, especially the last four, are ridiculously long! I’ll be so happy if anyone would read them! https://joshuamakotoswanson.wordpress.com/2018/12/08/the-chronicles-of-numbskull-combined-edition/ And, er, they’re a bit ridiculous as well… Now, I post a variety of stuff, and I mostly reblog Christian bloggers posts because posts about Jesus have way more value. And also blogging is a good way to make friends. 😉

2. What’s your favourite blog?

I have quite a few favorite blogs, but my No. 1 favorite blog is Mr. Lee Duigon’s blog. I knew him through the Bell Mountain series, and I was interested in who he was, so I visited his blog. In June of 2018, I posted my first comment on Lee Duigon’s blog, that was the starting point of my blogging journey. Please visit his blog at leeduigon.com!! He recommended me to make this blog, for which I am very grateful! Please follow his blog, you will be glad you did!!

3. Cat person or dog person?

I think I’m more a cat person than a dog person. Maybe mostly it’s because I like kittens! 😺 Of course I like dogs, too, but if I had to choose between a cat or dog for a pet, I would choose a cat, a kitten if possible. 🙂

4. If you could choose one food to live off for the rest of your life (and live no matter what its nutritional values are 😂), what would it be?

Ah, that’s a good question! Definitely my favorite food, taco rice! It’s a Mexican dish, which is taco meat, cheese, salsa sauce, avocado, and vegetables on rice. If you never ate this before, I really recommend that you should!

5. Do you have any pets?

We used to have some pets, for example a hamster, some goldfish, and a dog, but now there are none… I wouldn’t mind having a cat someday! 🙂

6. Which song “speaks” to you the most?

Of course all hymns speak to me of the importance of loving the LORD, and I think the hymn that speaks to me the most is “It is Well With My Soul.” The background story of this hymn is sad, but the Godly Christian man who lost his loved ones in an accident wrote this hymn to praise God for whatever happens in his life, because God is in sovereign control. Christians have nothing to fear, because all is as the LORD wills it.

Here is the hymn…

Here are my 5 nominees:

Aashutosh Jha

Kristi Ann

Questions for my nominees…

  1. What is the most important thing in life for you?
  2. Have you ever lost anything that was special to you?
  3. Where does your hope for living lie in?
  4. Have you ever felt afraid about something?
  5. What drink gives you the boost of the day?
  6. How is your neighbor? 🙂

(P.S. – Feel free to answer the questions in the comments below if you have an award-free blog!)

Thank you once again for nominating me, Newblogger20! I’ll go work on the other award you nominated me!

Stay tuned for The Animal Award! 😊

Quick Spiritual DNA Test

This is one of the most important blog posts out there. Please read, and ask yourself, “Am I saved from my sins?”

The Domain for Truth

This is a serious and important post.

One of the most frightening passage from the Bible is what Jesus said:

Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many [n]miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’

(Matthew 7:22-23)

The consequences of being a false Christian has too much at stake for eternity.

You want to make sure you really are a Christian.  You want to make sure you genuinely will be going to heaven.  Of course going to heaven is not by our own works, but the works of Christ.  But you got to have genuine trust in Christ’s person and work.  You need to be rooted in Christ.

How do you know you are rooted…
