The questions from Elijah:

1: In what ways has your blog brought you closer to the Lord?

I think my blog made me think more about God. Sometimes the blog posts I write minister to myself. They make me think if I’m serving the Lord Jesus Christ from my heart. Also my blog has enabled me to communicate with other believers of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, something that is hard to do in a heathen country like Japan.

2: What is your favorite passage from the Bible?

John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

3: Have you ever made a short movie with your friends or family? If so, did you enjoy doing it?

Well, I’ve never made a live-action movie with my family, but when Jeremy and I were little, we used to make short films using teddy bears and other stuffed toys. I got some DVD’s of Jeremy’s own videos for my birthday a while ago. Jeremy still likes to make movies by taking thousands of pictures of LEGO minifigures and other things, moving the objects little by little, making a well-made stop-motion video.

4: What is your all-time favorite movie? What makes it your favorite?

Hmm… That is a hard question. I’m sort of a fan of Sci-Fi, for example Star Wars, and also adventure movies such as Indiana Jones. But I think my all-time favorite movie is The Polar Express, which is also my brother’s favorite. When he was little, he could have watched the movie every day! (Although that’s kind of an exaggeration…) I like it because it’s exciting and heart-warming. I recommend watching it in Christmas time.

5: If you were watching a film for the first time and there was content that went against your conscience, would you just “fight through it”, or would you turn it off?

If it was on TV, then I would just change the channel, or just turn the TV off. But if it’s on DVD, then I’ll skip the bad parts by fast-forwarding the movie. And if people in the movie speak bad language, then we just change the language setting to Japanese, which is safer.
