“Seek ye the LORD while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” – Isaiah 55:6-7
Lydia Potter nominated me for this on May 14th, 2020!
Thank you so much, Lydia, for nominating me for the Mystery Blogger Award!! That was so kind of you! (To my readers: make sure to check out her blog and to give her a follow!)
The Rules:
1. Put the award logo on your blog.
2. Thank the blogger(s) who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
3. Mention the creator of the award.
4. Answers the five questions you were asked.
5. Tell the readers three things about yourself.
6. Nominate ten to twenty bloggers.
7. Notify the bloggers (tell them you nominated them) by commenting on one of their posts.
8. Ask your nominees five questions with one weird or funny one.
9. Share a link to your best posts.
I believe that the Bible is true.
I like to write my diary every day.
I am a very, very, very, very slow eater.
The Questions:
1. Do you prefer solid color clothes or a pattern?
I like both, but I prefer clothes with patterns,
2. What are your 3 favorite things you do every day?
I like to drink coffee, read my Bible, and pray.
3. How often do you post on your blog?
I used to post every day, but recently I’ve been doing only a few posts a month.
4. When you handwrite, do you write in cursive or print?
I write in cursive.
5. When was the last time you ate bacon?
The first thing I wrote was: “Hmm… I don’t remember exactly when I last ate bacon, but I think I ate some with fried rice (called “chahan”) four or five weeks ago,” but later, the time of my latest bacon consumption changed. On June 10th, 2020, Wednesday, at approximately 12:00 PM, I ate bacon strips, and, oh, they tasted swell.
(P.S. – I also ate bacon on June 17th, Wednesday, when it showed up in my lunchbox. Thanks, Mom!)
(P.P.S. – Sigh. This is what’ll happen if you wait until after Father’s Day to post this… you get to eat a whole pig before you can answer the question!!! On June 19th, Friday, Mom served us some delicious Japanese food which included some salmon, miso soup, and, you guessed it, bacon. I ate bacon on that day at around 12:15 PM, by the way! So what!?)
(P.P.P.S. – On June 21st, 2020, which, come to think of it, was yesterday, I ate chahan, and I don’t think I have to mention what was in it. 😉 )
I feel as if I’ve eaten an entire pig in order to answer this question! 🐷
1. What encourages you during these trying times?
2. What gives you the greatest happiness in your life?
3. How often do you wear a watch?
4. What is your favorite zoo?
5. Have you ever eaten black garlic? If so, do you like it?

Thank you once again, Lydia! And thank y’all for reading! 🙂
"[1] Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of Thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
[2] Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
[3] For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
[4] Against Thee, Thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in Thy sight: that Thou mightest be justified when Thou speakest, and be clear when Thou judgest.
[5] Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
[6] Behold, Thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part Thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
[7] Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
[8] Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which Thou hast broken may rejoice.
[9] Hide Thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
[10] Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
[11] Cast me not away from Thy presence; and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me.
[12] Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation; and uphold me with Thy free Spirit.
[13] Then will I teach transgressors Thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto Thee.
[14] Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, Thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of Thy righteousness.
[15] O Lord, open Thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth Thy praise.
[16] For Thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: Thou delightest not in burnt offering.
[17] The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise.
[18] Do good in Thy good pleasure unto Zion: build Thou the walls of Jerusalem.
[19] Then shalt Thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon Thine altar." (Psalm 51:1-19)
I am a Christian, and I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior from my sins! Praise the LORD for saving such a sinful wretch like me!! Courage, Christian soldiers serving under King Jesus' banner! "What shall we then say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31) "Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ." (2 Timothy 2:3)
Favorite book: The Holy Bible, which is the Word of God. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)
Other favorite books: The Bell Mountain Series by Lee Duigon; The Remnant Trilogy by Tim Chaffey and K. Marie Adams; The Crown & Covenant and The Faith & Freedom Trilogies by Douglas Bond; etc. I recommend these books!

Wow! I never thought there was another “very, very, very, very slow eater” on earth! It’s a pleasure to meet you!
Those bacon answers cracked me up!
It’s so good to know I’m not alone! It’s a pleasure to meet you too! Thank you for laughing at all that bacon stuff. I kinda worked hard on that one. 🙂
Hey Joshua! Thanks for nominating me!
I think it’s really great that you are a slow eater. In my opinion, it’s better to eat slow (even though I don’t do such a great job of it
myself!)

Hey Joah! You’re very welcome! And thank you for reading this! I was a slow eater ever since I was little. I find it hard to swallow for some reason.
