‘Be Thou My Vision’ — Lee Duigon

“2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” – Hebrews 12:2 KJV

This is my favorite hymn! This post is from Lee Duigon’s blog.

This is probably the oldest hymn on our list, dating back to the 8th century and still beloved today–Be Thou My Vision, from Ireland. Sung by the Lebanon Youth Chorus.

  1. One of my favorite hymns! The choir I sing with has an octet (I’m not in that!) that sings this song a cappella at our concerts! It’s gorgeous!!!! ❤
