The Word of God

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” – 2 Timothy 3:16-17

“Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him.” – Proverbs 30:5

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” – Psalm 119:105

“And He humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that He might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.” – Deuteronomy 8:3

“Therefore shall ye lay up these My words in your heart and in your soul.” – Deuteronomy 11:18

“The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is Thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. Who can understand his errors? Cleanse Thou me from secret faults. Keep back Thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my Redeemer.” – Psalm 19:7-14

“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to Thy Word. With my whole heart have I sought Thee: O let me not wander from Thy commandments. Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee. Blessed art Thou, O LORD: teach me Thy statutes.” – Psalm 119:9-12

“Thy Word is very pure: therefore Thy servant loveth it.” – Psalm 119:140

“Thy Word is true from the beginning: and every one of Thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.” – Psalm 119:160

“Therefore I love Thy commandments above gold; yea above fine gold. Therefore I esteem all Thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way. Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore my soul doth keep them. The entrance of Thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” – Psalm 119:127-130

“Order my steps in Thy Word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.” – Psalm 119:133

“Thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart.” – Jeremiah 15:16

“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the Word of our God shall stand for ever.” – Isaiah 40:8

“So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” – Isaiah 55:11

“And when the tempter came to Him, he said, ‘If Thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.’ But He answered and said, ‘It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.'” – Matthew 4:3-4

“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” – Matthew 5:17-18

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.” – Matthew 24:35

“And Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.”” – Luke 4:4

“And He said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning Me.” – Luke 24:44

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.” – John 1:1-2

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” – John 1:14

“It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” – John 6:63

“Then Simon Peter answered Him, ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that Thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.'” – John 6:68-69

“Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, ‘Lord, how is it that Thou wilt manifest Thyself unto us, and not unto the world?’ Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make Our abode with him.'” – John 14:22-23

“But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that by believing ye might have life through His name.” – John 20:31

“And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.” – Acts 6:7

“So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.” – Acts 19:20

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” – Romans 10:9-17

“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Jesus Christ. That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” – Romans 15:4-6

“For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, ‘Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.’ But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, ‘The just shall live by faith.’ And the law is not of faith: but, ‘The man that doeth them shall live in them.’ Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, ‘Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree’: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” – Galatians 3:10-14

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the Beloved. In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace; Wherein He hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will: That we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.” – Ephesians 1:3-14

“Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” – Colossians 3:16

“Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted Word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the Word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” – James 1:21-25

“For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” – Hebrews 4:12

“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 Who by Him do believe in God, that raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. 22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pur heart fervently: 23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 25 But the Word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the Word which by the gospel is preached unto you.” – 1 Peter 1:18-25

“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the Word, that ye may grow thereby.” – 1 Peter 2:2

“Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness; In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began; But hath in due times manifested His Word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour.” – Titus 1:1-3

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God; 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.” – Ephesians 6:10-18

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, ‘Surely I come quickly.’ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” – Revelation 22:18-21

What Do You Think?

~ What Do You Think – by Acappella ~

Luke 15:3~7

“3 And He [Jesus Christ] spake this parable unto them, saying, 4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? 5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing, 6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. 7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in Heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”

Isaiah 53:6

“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on Him [the Lord Jesus Christ] the iniquity of us all.”

John 10:11

“[Jesus said,] I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth His life for the sheep.”

(Scripture quotations from the KJV Bible)

How I Know the Bible is True — A Mom Looking Up

When Hubs and I first entertained the thought of home schooling our children, I wrote out a list of goals. Toward the top of this list was not to just bring them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, but also the ability to know WHY they believe what they believe. ……always be ready to […]

via How I Know the Bible is True — A Mom Looking Up

The Great God

AMEN!! Hallelujah to our great KING JESUS!

Looking to God

There is no other God than God. He is the Great God. He is ruler of the heavens, creator of all things and the high judge. He is all-merciful, kind to the brokenhearted and always forgiving. His love is greater than all the love we could ever have for anyone. His joy is endless.

“Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy! For the Lord, the Most High, is to be feared, a great king over all the earth.” (Psalms 47:1-2)

The greatness of His grace is beyond measure, for He gave His son Jesus as a sacrifice to pay for all our sins. As true as the sun rises and the sun sets, so is God’s love for His children. His love for us never fails. From age to age, His deeds are witness to His greatness. The oceans came together by His…

New Creature

Jesus is the Savior from our sins! He made me a new creature in Christ! AMEN!! Reblogged from Unashamed of Jesus.

Unashamed of Jesus

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. 2 Corinthians 5:17

What does it mean to be Born Again? (John 3:3) This is a concept that a lot of Christians seem to have trouble understanding. You are not saved by your religious affiliations, you are not saved by the amount of money you put into the offering plate, and your not saved by doing community service, you are saved by faith through Jesus Christ only!

Now when you truly accept Jesus as your Lord, something begins to happen, you become Born Again. You are baptized with the Holy Spirit and the sanctification process starts to begin. This is how you become a New Creature through Christ

The old things pass away, meaning your old sinful lifestyle. No longer are you a slave to the sins that trap…
