“Seek ye the LORD while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” – Isaiah 55:6-7
The year is about to change from 2020 to 2021! Let’s end the blog posts for this year with this awesome hymn medley sung by Lena Maria in Swedish and English!
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this year. This year was a hard one for us, but Lord, You have helped us through. Help us to always trust in You in all circumstances. Help us in the next year, too. Thank You for all the blessings You so graciously grant unto us who are so unworthy of anything but death. Thank You most of all for the free gift of grace granted to us through the substitutionary and satisfactory sacrifice and death of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the King of kings and Lord and lords, who is now seated at the right hand of God making intercession for His elect people. Help us to have our one and only hope in Jesus Christ our God, the Creator of the earth and Savior of His people, the sheep of His pasture. May we be found faithful unto You, always abounding in the work of spreading the gospel, and anticipating the return of Jesus Christ our eternal King at the end of the world. Amen.
“He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.”
We must always think about the amazing faithfulness of God towards His rebellious, unfaithful, and sinful creatures. Christians of all people should be ever thanking the Lord for being faithful to us always.
22 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father, there is no shadow of turning with thee; thou changest not, thy compassions they fail not; as thou hast been thou forever wilt be. CHORUS Great is thy faithfulness! Great is thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed thy hand hath provided, great is thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, thy own dear presence to cheer and to guide; strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside CHORUS
15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are,yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Before the throne of God above,
I have a strong and perfect plea,
A great High Priest whose name is Love,
Who ever lives and pleads for me.
My name is graven on His hands,
My name is written on His heart.
I know that while in Heaven He stands,
No tongue can bid me thence depart,
No tongue can bid me thence depart.
When Satan tempts me to despair
And tells me of the guilt within,
Upward I look and see Him there,
Who made an end to all my sin.
Because the sinless Savior died,
My sinful soul is counted free;
For God, the just, is satisfied
To look on Him and pardon me,
To look on Him and pardon me.
Behold Him there, the risen Lamb,
My perfect, spotless righteousness,
The great unchangeable I AM,
The King of glory and of grace!
One with Himself I cannot die.
My soul is purchased by His blood!
My life is hid with Christ on high,
With Christ, my Savior and my God,
With Christ, my Savior and my God.
