Merry Christmas 2019 & The December Tag

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Thank you, God, for sending us your Son, Jesus Christ, Who has no beginning, nor will He have an end, to this earth in the form of a man, to die on the cross for undeserving sinners whom You chose to save. Thank you that Jesus is risen from the dead, and will come back to earth to rule for eternity! May the time come soon when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of all!!

For Unto Us A Child Is Born

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)

“Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel.” – Isaiah 7:14

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins.” – Matthew 1:21

“Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, BEHOLD, A VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD, AND SHALL BRING FORTH A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME EMMANUEL, which being interpreted is, God with us.” – Matthew 1:22-23

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16

‘The Son of God Goes Forth to War’

Jesus Christ is Lord of lords and King of kings! Onward, Christian soldiers!

(This is from Lee Duigon’s blog.)

Lee Duigon

This is the kind of hymn that makes simpering liberal go-along-to-get-along churchmen cringe: The Son of God Goes Forth to War: written in 1812 by Reginald Heber, sung here by Joe Stout. It can also be sung to the tune of The Minstrel Boy.

Let’s not forget that Jesus Christ is King of kings, whose right it is to rule. And the sooner He claims it and establishes His throne, the better.

And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,  The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, because HE hath anointed me to Preach the Gospel to the poor; HE hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to Preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at Liberty them that are bruised, To Preach the acceptable year of the LORD.  And HE closed the Book, and HE gave it again to the Minister, and sat down. ‘The Hallelujah Chorus’ (Why Not?) — Lee Duigon’s Blog

This is totally beautiful! Singing is a gift from God!

Lee Duigon

We usually hear this around Christmas-time and Easter, but Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords all 365 days of the year. Any time’s a good time for The Hallelujah Chorus, from G.F. Handel’s The Messiah: performed by the Royal Choral Society.

The Great God

AMEN!! Hallelujah to our great KING JESUS!

Looking to God

There is no other God than God. He is the Great God. He is ruler of the heavens, creator of all things and the high judge. He is all-merciful, kind to the brokenhearted and always forgiving. His love is greater than all the love we could ever have for anyone. His joy is endless.

“Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy! For the Lord, the Most High, is to be feared, a great king over all the earth.” (Psalms 47:1-2)

The greatness of His grace is beyond measure, for He gave His son Jesus as a sacrifice to pay for all our sins. As true as the sun rises and the sun sets, so is God’s love for His children. His love for us never fails. From age to age, His deeds are witness to His greatness. The oceans came together by His…

Bible Contradiction? Who created heaven and earth?

From The Domain for Truth.

The Domain for Truth

For today’s post we will tackle the question the Skeptic Annotated Bible asked: Who created heaven and earth?

Here are the two answers which the skeptic believes indicate a Bible contradiction:

God the Father did it all by himself.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1)

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb, “I, the Lord, am the maker of all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself And spreading out the earth all alone,” (Isaiah 44:24)

Jesus did it.

There came a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him. 8 He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light. 9 There was the true Light which, coming into…

By Request, ‘I am the God that Healeth Thee’

Amen!

Lee Duigon

Requested by Erlene–I am the God that Healeth Thee, by Don Moen.

We cannot count the people who were healed by Our Savior Jesus Christ, healed of every conceivable disease, while He was present in the flesh, on earth: and those healings were the evidence that God Himself had sent Him. They bore witness that He was the Son of God.

God has promised that when He restores His creation, in the fullness of time, sin and death will be cast out. There will be no need for any more healings, because we will all be whole, forever.

But in the meantime, all healing still comes from Him and we are instructed to pray for our loved ones, or for ourselves, when we need healing. God knows that we are weak; but He is strong. We pray in hope.

An Easter Prayer

Christ the Lord rose from the dead three days after He died on the cross for the sins of His chosen people. This is a prayer by Lee Duigon for this Easter Sunday.

This is Christ Pantokrator, “Christ the Ruler of All,” as portrayed in an ancient church in Sicily. Today on Easter Sunday we celebrate His resurrection from the dead.

Or Lord our God, and Father of All: grant this Easter day of 2019 power to work all throughout the year, every day, to draw our hearts to Jesus Christ–by whose blood we are saved, by whose wounds we are healed; Jesus Christ, our rightful King and only Savior.

Do as thou has said, O Lord! Make His enemies His footstool, put all things under Him, make all things new and wash away all tears: we pray for the restitution of all things, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ the King of kings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Freedom–under Our Rightful King

Jesus Christ is the Ruler of all!!

Lee Duigon

Jesus said, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).

This is why all the wannabe rulers of the world hate Him. It’s even why their pet academics teach defenseless college students that there’s no such thing as truth–there’s only “your truth” and “my truth,” and somehow the professor’s “truth” always wins.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the only ruler whose right is absolute, God-given. As far back as David’s time, three thousand years ago, we are told as much in the Psalms. “The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool” (Ps. 110:1). God has promised to put all things under His Son, whose right it is.

Global government types don’t want to hear that! It’s their right, not His! Because they’re so much smarter than us, so much better…
